Concept

The primary purpose of the association is to bring music closer to children and young people, and to give everyone the opportunity to receive professional training through financial support.

To this end, the association has created a "social fund", in which funds are collected, with it the children and young people should be given the opportunity to get a professional music education, which otherwise have no way to do so.

For this purpose, e.g. the assumption of training costs or a grant for instrument procurement are possible.
The circumstances of the individual case are decisive.

The fund is filled with a portion of performance fees and donations.

Through the cooperation with the "School Of Music" in Ashausen, a professional training opportunity is available.

Martin Woodford realizes the ideas of an open and contemporary teaching that combines good teaching methods with the joy of music. Most of the students are able to play in the orchestra after one year of instrumental lessons.

The first song can usually be played already after a few weeks.

Furthermore, the association takes care of the entire organization of performances and concerts. The highlights of the year are on the one hand the Summer and Christmas Concert, on the other hand the travels and workshops in the entire north of Germany. There we not only get to know the country and the people, but also present the music of Woody's Sound to our hosts.
A special feature of the orchestra's activities is the regular concert tour to England. At the invitation of Worcestershire County, Woody's Sound gives three to four concerts in various schools. The previously learned knowledge will be implemented and passed on to the English hosts. The trips are an additional motivation for the musicians, promote the independence and increase through a comprehensive cultural program accompanying the fun factor.

In any case, the fun of playing music and joint ventures is in the foreground. Only in this way does the orchestra achieve its high standard.

However, the same old saying applies to music making: no diligence, no price!
